Porto still finds it difficult to contain Liverpool every time both sides meet, the team struggle as usual against the Premier League giant in their second match of the Uefa Champions League.

Liverpool started quite well in this season competition, they have won both matches in the group stage. First, it was AC Milan at Anfield and now they conquered Portugal. The game started brightly for both sides, it was hard to conclude what the results would be at the end of the 90 minutes but things started changing at a point in the match.

The Egyptian King of football, Mohammed Salah opened the scoreline in the 18th minute and that was the opener Liverpool needed to become ruthless against the Portuguese giant.

The search for goals went from end to end and Sadio Mane doubled Liverpool's lead before the end of the first half of the encounter. The teams went into halftime with Liverpool having an edge going into the second half in Porto.

The second half kicked off and we saw another goal exactly in the 60th minute of the match, Mohammed scored his second for the night.

Fifteen minutes later, the home team pulled one back and it looked like they were ready for a comeback, Mehdi Taremi got the goal for Porto. Both teams made changes and we expected differences in the game but Liverpool substitutions were more effective.

Surprisingly, Roberto Firmino who came in as a substitute for Salah got a brace. The Brazilian scored twice to put the victory beyond the reach of Porto, Liverpool now sits on top of the table with 6 points while the home team still has 1 point they got against Atletico Madrid.
