For some years Gianluca Vialli has moved away from the world of football, after being a successful footballer and after winning both in Italy and in England, he had first started his career as a coach and then became a prominent man of Sky both for Italy and for England.

In this period of his life, he has found himself facing and trying to win one of the greatest challenges that can arise, to defeat cancer.

It seems that he is succeeding and has recently published a book, as well as having left an interview in which he said: That this experience has served him to become a better man, to be closer to the family.

Vialli was born on July 9th in Cremona, where he will start his career as a player, with 105 appearances and 23 goals.

In 1984 he moves to Sampdoria where he will write indelible pages of the history of the burned, winning three Italian cups, the first and only championship in the history of blue-circled, leading the team to play a Champions League final lost 1-0 against Barcelona.

Famous and strong was the agreement with the current CT of the Italian National Roberto Mancini, couple nicknamed TWINS OF THE GOL.

Vialli concludes his splendid career at Chelsea, where he will also become coach-player with excellent results, with the London club winning FA Cup, a Cup Winners' Cup and a European Super Cup.

In the national team, he made his debut at 21 on November 16th 1985, collecting 56 appearances and 16 goals.
