Didier drogba announce his retirement from football, and it's like some kind of good feeling for me that we have a legend who has really done well especially for Africa as well and then is saying goodbye to football completely..

Considering the age his retiring, and of course considering the fact that this is africa where most times we are been note about by the issue of age thing situation and all that, but to find a true legend,a fantastic footballer, I actually started following him when he came to Chelsea and I was particularly impressed with his form, with his style of play, this is one man that did well for Marseille and just before he was signed by jose mourinho when he came to chelsea and started breaking records infact I think it was that particular team of that era that actually brought chelsea to the front four, because before then a lot of people did not know there's a club called chelsea. It was that team with the likes of Didier drogba, frank lampard , essien, john terry, calvaho... all those guys and in the relationship between them and the manager, am still looking for that chemistry between drogba, but I have watched him where czech will just picked the ball and kicked it and connect straight to drogba consistency, Is just superb and amazing, he has done well for himself, his club and country.

Most times we talk about players doing well at the club level but not really contributing for their country, but this man has done well for both his club and the country he played for, he has done well for the country not just as a footballer but as a philanthropist as well, he his a legend. he was always shaking the net, he's this very important player not by how he can score a whole lot of goals but then how effective he can be on the important stage.

Chelsea fans will remember him in the champions league final he scored the equalizing goal after Bayern munich scored them first and also scored a winning penalty, so he's this all round player when the clubs needs him is just there to deliver , that's just him, and am sure the fans will remember him for the passion and that magical chest and his drama. And also in the national front, he also did a lot for the team, and he will regret the fact that he retired too early that was in 2014 and ivory coast won the afcon in 2015 , sincerly he will have love to add that to his collection, because he did a lot for the country the country highest goal scorer in their history 65 goals in 114 appearances and that's massive, that's one thing you will see in the ibrahimnovic of these world and also the first goal that ivory coast will ever scored in a world cup and outside all of this, important on the pitch of play and also outside the field of play.

There was this civil war that was ragging up till 2007 , and ivory coast were preparing for the 2006 qualifying series for afcon and through out the qualifying game drogba picked up a microphone in the dressing room and then it was live on t.v all over cote'dvoir and then begged the country, the worrying fans, and then everything ended few month after, so that's the kind of influence that this man can be even outside the field of play.

His a premier league legend, a Chelsea legend and even a Turkish legend because he won a turkish cup and also for the country in cote'd voir and many will remember him for years and for years to come.

Looking at his relationship between him and jose mourinho, a lot of people say jose made him a prolific striker that he was now that he's retired.

During his days we could remember that, in his first spell out of his all premier league titles that he won, the first three were during his first spell at Chelsea, so looking at his relationship with jose mourinho, what i will say about the combination??

It's a good one , and it's a relationship that we all enjoyed, drogba said something recently he said that when he was coming to Chelsea, in his first time he was doubting himself, because looking at him coming to premier league is a very big step he was taking there and the French league was not really as recognized and competitive as the premier league, he has to doubt himself, but meeting jose mourinho it is a good one for him, he actually said I will go with you if you don't step up your game, and if you don't show what you are capable of, and in his first season he wasn't impressive at all but later on he adapt and step up his game, and talking about, lampard, john Terry, joe cole and drogba... these are players that jose mourinho actually has impact on. We saw the best of drogba under jose mourinho and this was a coach that the issue was so strong to a point that when jose mourinho was about leaving Chelsea, the players in the dressing room were very sad, in fact we heard some of them were even crying because mourinho was leaving the club. So that shows how the bond between the manager and the players then how strong it was, and I think jose mourinho really did a lot with him and even with the likes of Frank lampard, john terry... jose mourinho is a coach they can never forget.
