Thierry henry first game as a manager ended in defeat as the monaco side lost 2-1 to strasbourg in league one..
Looking at that with all of the hype , when Thierry henry was coming into the monaco team, we want to really say, this should be a game for him but I also feel to some extent we should also cut him some slack at least for a rocky manager not a bad one for him.
Looking at the time that he came into the team he should know he had lot to do because monaco has not been in good form, it's going to be a clear task for him coming into the club and actually get the ball rolling for monaco..
His first game was played on saturday against strasbourg and we know how they've been so far this season and playing strasbourg who we know it's something difficult for monaco to actually do, strasbourg got the first goal and they were one man down (monaco) which I feel maybe it might be part of the things that actually hindered monaco's game.. the player who was sent off was Samuel Grandsir two minute when he came in into the game he was given the red card and then Y.Tielemans was the only one to get the goal for them.
Thierry henry should actually learn from the fact that every game he have to take it a step at a time, and I feel its going to be difficult managing monaco side when they are currently sitting 19 on the log I think the primary aim for Thierry Henry is that he should try as much as possible to make sure monaco doesn't relegate to the second division team, if he does that it's going to be an achievement for him then probably next season he will try as much as possible to get players to add to the squad and try his real tactics with what he really want the players to actually do next season.
In his first press conference he talked about trying to adopt a pep guardiola ti ki-ta ka football and probably add one or two things here and there to that method and get something going for Monaco..
My analysis on the method Thierry Henry want to employ..
I agree with him that it can work in a certain league like league one, and we've saw Thierry Henry played under the best managers the likes of arsen wenger and pep guardiola and we can find similarity in their styles of play, you can't play for any of these managers and not learn one or two things from them and he also get the chance to learn from Roberto Martínez when he was under him in the Belgium team.. so I think it's a very good one, for him to come out and say he want to play a ti ki ta ka football that means he had learned something from his managers And with the style of play he should be able to take monaco to the top level..
