New Arsenal coach, Unai Emery confident Aaron Ramsey will survive in the club nicknamed The Gunners. He admits his team still needs a crucial figure of Ramsey in midfield.

This bloody Wales player has appeared 300 times for Arsenal since imported from Cardiff City in 2008 ago. Ramsey will run out of contract at the end of the 2018/19 season and he continues to be linked with Lazio.

Arsenal have just released Jack Wilshere at the transfer pause this time. But Emery believes the club will not do the same to Ramsey. He also believes Ramsey intends to extend his contract at Arsenal.

For Emery, Ramsey is one of the most important players in the current Arsenal squad. In addition to his basketball skills, he calls Ramsey a crucial figure for Arsenal's dressing room, given his myriad of experiences.

"Football is changing every day It's not easy, so I think about today's game, then practice tomorrow, then the game on Saturday, with important players here," Emery said 

"Aaron (Ramsey) is an important player for us, and the contract issue is one thing special for the club and the player."

Emery did not hesitate to mention that he still needs players like Ramsey. The Arsenal team needs a figure like Ramsey.

"For me, I want him to stay with us, work with us, to give the team the best performance I think he will stay here with us."

Ramsey's presence is believed to be important to help new Arsenal players adapt. So far Emirates Stadium has come Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno, Sokratis, Matte Guendouzi and Stephan Lichtsteiner.
