Chelsea legend John Terry is set to enter Russia.

The U.K.'s "mirror" is nearing Terry's surprise in Russia. Terry passed the Spartac Moscow medical exam last Saturday in Rome, Italy, and will receive an annual salary of 3 million pounds on a one-year contract.

Terry, who made his professional debut in 1998, scored 66 goals in 717 games wearing Chelsea's blue uniform. He led the team for 578 games as captain. During this period, he won 14 championship titles (four in the Premier League, five in the FA Cup, three in the League, one in the UEFA Champions League, and one in the UEFA Europa League).

By the end of 2017, Terry left Chelsea. And his destination was Villa. In the second division, Villa played the role of defense's spiritual leader, but failed to advance the team. Then, he left the contract without extending it.

After breaking up with Villa, Terry was agonizing over the dividing line between maintaining active duty and starting his leadership career.Among these, there were urgent calls from Sporting Lisbon and the endangered villa. But Terry's choice was Spartac Moscow.

Meanwhile, according to 'mirror,' Villa's coach Steve Bruce, who missed Terry, will prepare for Robert Hoot's entry.
