Poland have gotten off to a rough start in World Cup qualifying after first turning a looming defeat against Hungary and later achieved a mandatory victory against Andorra on Sunday night. On Wednesday, Poland will face the group favorites England, in what can probably be expected to be a key match in relation to who make first place in the group, but this match will unfortunately be played completely without their overriding world star Lewandowski due to injury.

According to media, he was injured in his right knee and he won't be available for the next game, though its not a serious injury and it may likely take upto 2 weeks before he recovers. so upon that he will return to Bayern Munich where he will be getting additional treatments and the progress will be stated.

Robert Lewandowski managed to score three goals in two matches during this national team gathering, and it is a huge loss for Poland to have to do without one of their best player.
