Barcelona was helpless at the Camp Nou Stadium as they suffered a heavy loss in the hand of Paris Saint Germain in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 Leg 1. Messi gave Barcelona the lead in the 27th minutes but the momentum never lasted for long ad Mbappe give Paris Saint Germain a equalizing goal and they levelled up to 1-1. The half time ended in a 1-1 draw with determination from both teams to come back stronger in the second half but things went south for Barcelona as Paris Saint-Germain are more determined than them.
Mbappe scored more two goals in the second half which gives him a hat trick and Kean scored a goal to make it 4. It was a huge win for Paris Saint-Germain as they took the lead in the first leg and they have chances of qualifying to the quarter finals if they could do better at their home stadium in the second leg.
Mbappe told his team never to fully relaxed on the fact that they have won the first leg and that doesn't determined their qualifications until the second leg has been played. Paris Saint-Germain has previously had an encounter with Barcelona where they beat Barcelona with 5 goals in the first leg and Barcelona came back with beating them with 6 goals in the second leg. Nothing is impossible in football, so PSG need to hold tight and do better in the second leg.
