It was a sad day for the Portuguese, Jose Mourinho got sacked by Tottenham Hotspur after just 17 months in charge of the team. He never see this coming that he will be sacked but it came as a shocker for him. Tottenham Hotspur expected more of a title challenge from the Portuguese since signing him and he was also funded to sign several players of his choice but still he never take the team to the next level.

Tottenham Hotspur started the season so well as they are so clear to be among the title challenger but it was unfortunate they couldn't even make the top four as they are currently on 7th position after a 2-2 draw with Everton on Friday. Mourinho would have been retained if only he made the top four place but its glaring that they will not make it to the Champions league next season and with their current position they will be on their toes to fight for their place in the UEFA Europa league.

As Tottenham Hotspur will be looking for a Manager to take Mourinho place, Ryan Mason and Chris Powell will take over as a joint-interim Till solution was proffered to their Managerial issue. Mourinho never wanted to take Tottenham Hotspur job before but it was due to his unemployment that caused and also he took it in order to be active so that good team will sign him.
