After the signing of Diego Laxalt and Samu Castillejo today. They stated in their official statement that no more players would be signed in this window now, today is the deadline day. Personally this has been a great transfer window for the club in my opinion. They solved most of the club's issues without taking much risk financially, Elliott Management and their newly elected board gets the credit especially Leonardo Araújo and Paolo Maldini.

The club signed Gonzalo Higuaín, a proven Serie A striker to solve goalscoring woes. They bought in Samu Castillejo to add depth and upgrade on Borini on the wings. Diego Laxalt adds more depth on left side of the pitch as the player is capable of playing in all three major positions on the left flank. Signing of Bakayoko would add depth in midfield as he would be alternative to Kessie and most probably a starter in 4-2-3-1 formation, in case Bakayoko gets back to form like his AS Monaco days then nothing can be better. For the departing Leonardo Bonucci, the club was able to get young Mattia Caldara in return. The only woe that is intact is not being able to sign a central midfielder which can be solved in January.

What's also important is that the club was able to hold on important players from last season like Suso, Çalhanoğlu, Cutrone, Bonaventura, Romagnoli and even Gigio Donnarumma. No one had thought of this much great transfer window in July when the club were struggling with finance under the previous owner Yonghong Li. This season Milan are much more balanced and stronger than last season. Expect better things to happen.
