4 more games are scheduled to go down today in the EPL as we draw closer to the end of Matchday 29.
Southampton take on Brighton and Hove Albion, Leicester City host Sheffield United, Arsenal welcome Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United face off against West Ham United.
Well, just as you thought, it was a big decision choosing between the game involving London sides, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, and the game involving the impressive duo of Manchester United and West Ham United.
However, there was no way I could pass up the opportunity of analyzing the London derby for the epic clash that will be going down at Manchester.
I believe we can now move on to the analysis for our selected game.
Starting off with the home team:
ARSENAL:
1) The Gunners better "head to head" in their last 4 meetings against Spurs at Emirates Stadium is definitely one stat that will give them a big boost going into this game.
Mikel Arteta's men have won 2, drawn 1, and lost 1 in these 4 encounters.
A fair one you want to say for Arsenal.
2) Another stat that could favor Arsenal getting something out of this game is Tottenham Hotspur's poor results in their last 3 games away from home against impressive teams in England.
They Tottenham have lost to Everton, Manchester City, and West Ham United, 3 teams who have looked to be very impressive.
I bet Arsenal, who have not been bad either, could also get a win for themselves, or what do you think?
Moving on next to Jose Mourinho's men.
TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR:
1) Spurs sudden impressive run of games compared to Arsenal in their last 8 games is definitely one stat that puts them, Tottenham, in a better position to win this game.
Tottenham have managed 6 wins and 2 losses compared to Arsenal's 4 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses.
A huge boost for Jose Mourinho's men you want to say.
2) Tottenham Hotspur s better "head to head" in their last 8 encounters is another star that favors Jose Mourinho's men.
They, Tottenham, have managed 4 wins, 2 draws, and 2 defeats in these games against Arsenal.
Definitely another upper hand for Tottenham going into this game.
3) Jose Mourinho's record against Arsenal since he took charge of Tottenham's managerial role is another stat we should consider.
He has won all 2 of his last games against them since taking the above role.
I believe many of us will also still be familiar with Mourinho's strong record against Arsenal during his spells at Chelsea and Manchester United.
Another huge stat in favor of Tottenham Hotspur, isn't it?
CONCLUSION:
In all, Tottenham Hotspur look most probable to carry the day based on the stats we have before us.
However, it's a derby game, and I am very much open to suprises as well.
Your takes, opinions, and predictions are welcomed as always.
