English pundit Paul Merson has expressed concerns over events at Manchester United.

According to him, Cristiano Ronaldo should be dropped from the starting eleven. The pundit insisted that to him, things did not look right in the camp of Ralf Ragnick.

He also made a futuristic statement. Highlighting that it would be difficult for this current United team to seal a top-four finish.

Highlights on Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Old Trafford

The arrival of the Portuguese has seen lots of goals at the club. Singlehandedly, Ronaldo has managed a record of 14 goals in the first half of the season for the Red Devils.

Yet, a handful of questions have been asked concerning his work rate. Once again, Ronaldo was on point in Manchester United's last game as he netted a third goal for his team.

Nonetheless, his attitude has still left many with doubts on their minds.

A good example

A good example was the game against Newcastle. Manchester United played a 1-1 draw, and Ronaldo immediately stormed off the field after the loss.

In other words, the Portuguese's attitude after losses has been unimpressive. Hence, Paul Merson believes the Old Trafford giants would do well without Ronaldo in their starting team.

Summary

When it comes to goals, Ronaldo has been a force to be reckoned with. However, some aspects of his game has been left lagging. Leading to criticisms from pundits and fans.
