We are now left with the last 2 games of the UEFA Champions League Round Of 16 which are set to go down today.

Chelsea will host Athletico Madrid at the Bridge, whilst Bayern Munich will welcome Lazio to Allianz Arena.

However, the big match will definitely be the game between the Blues and the Rojiblancos as both sides battle not only for a spot in the Quater finals, although the former look favorite, but they, Chelsea, also put their unbeaten run under Thomas Tuchel on the line.

A mouth watering game you might want to say, well, I fully agree with you on this.

Let's move on straight to the analysis of this game then, shall we?

As usual, we will be starting off with the home team:

CHELSEA:

1) 1 fact that would definitely pop up when writing in favor of the Blues is Thomas Tuchel's "Unpredictability"

This single fact which has left opposing teams with no idea how best to counter this Chelsea team is 1 of the things that have helped the Blues thus far in remaining unbeaten under Thomas Tuchel.

I bet Diego Someone and his men will have a big issue overcoming that obstacle.

2) Another huge fact/stat favoring the Blues is their well organized backline department which have been able to ease the burden off their rather disappointing attacking department.

They have only conceded just 2 goals in their last 12 games in all competitions , I bet you will agree with me that this is another huge stat favoring the Blues.

3) Thomas Tuchel's side have also got that precious "Away Goal" on their side after getting a 1 nil victory over Diego Simeone's men at Budapest(the Rojiblancos' arbitrary home ground).

A draw in this game will definitely see the Blues progress to the Quater Finals, and this shouldn't be difficult for the Blues don't you think?

We can keep rolling in stats for the Blues, but the Rojiblancos shouldn't be underestimated either.

ATHLETICO MADRID:

1) Although the Rojiblancos look to be on the backfoot in this encounter, one thing the Blues need to be wary of is their, Athletico's, performance away from home in their last 8 games in all competitions.

Diego Simeone's men have managed 2 wins and 2 draws away from home, compared to the 1 win, 1 draw, and 2 losses they've managed playing at home.

I believe Thomas Tuchel's men won't want to take this stat lightly, do you?

CONCLUSION:

In all, it's most certain that the Blues will once again extend their unbeaten run, but they definitely won't be having it all their way.

Your thoughts and predictions are highly appreciated as always.
