It's going be a frenzy Wednesday night in Italy, as we look forward to the big clash between two heavyweights, as far as Italian football is concerned. Whether you're a fan of either if the teams or not, this isn't a game to miss. From all indications and signals in the atmosphere, it's gonna be an entertaining spectacle to behold. Guess what, it's the Copa Italia clash between AC Milan and Juventus. Historically, hese clubs need no introduction when it comes to Italian football, and the mere fact that they will also be playing for pride, makes the fixture a bit more interesting to me. This is also a game between two influencial players in the world, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Christiano Ronaldo. When Zlatan inked his signature for Milan after leaving US soccer league, I was excited because of the attention his presence will further drag to the league. As from that day, I have always looked forward to his games against Ronaldo and finally, tomorrow will be presenting a first Spectacle of both giants, as they battle each other on who will dominate the show.

If we choose to go by the Statistics, then Juventus are no doubt the favorites going into this game. A look at the five previous encounters between both teams shows AC Milan have been of no match to "The Old Ladies," as Juve have won all those fixtures across all competitions. In fact, a look at the league standings says it all. Juve are sitting on second position with 54 points, while Milan is standing 10th on the table with 32 points. This starts and many more points to Juventus as clear favorites, but in football, it's unpredictability is what makes it awesome. Both Juventus and Milan are coming off a disappointing outing in their last match, after losing all three points in their league match. For Juventus, a win against Milan will be a better way to show remorse after allowing Hellas Verona to beat them 2-1, thereby giving way for Inter to top the league. But AC Milan would have more disappointed, after allowing a two goals lead slip through their finger, as Conte's Inter turned the table to beat them 4-2 in their last match. With both teams trying to avoid two successive defeats, it's gonna be a touch clash, and I must mince no words in telling you that it's hard for me to pick a side in this game.

My Prediction: AC Milan 1-2 Juventus
