From the day a Man is born to the day he takes his last breath, he is face with Life hurdles he must have to overcome in order to move to the next phase. While he may surmount some of these hurdles with ease, he may have to try again and again to conquer others. Some school of thought are of the view that it's nothing abnormal for one to allow a war he can't win to humble him, and perhaps, this is the path the Brazilian Neymar Jr is about to toe.

The young star have been roped in lots of controversy in recent times, ranging from his controversial bank breaking transfer from the Camp Nou to PSG. The fans begged him to stay but he was hellbent in seeking a better career outside the borders of Spain. For him, PSG needed a king to lead them to European Warfront, and perhaps it was an opportunity for him to conquer empires with his new team. Barcelona already had a king in the Person of Lionel Messi, and Neymar felt his impact and stardom will be better felt outside the overshadowing shades of the Argentine Legend.

Just as the biblical prodigal son, his mind was made up and he left for France with the believe that he was at least going to be the king. He wanted PSG to be his base, from where he will extend his influence and conquer the remaining parts of Europe. On doing that, he must have overshadowed his biggest bottlenecks (Messi and Christiano Ronaldo). He couldn't play second fiddle to Messi no more at the camp Nou. He couldn't wait, he needed his own glory and he needed it as soon as possible.

Arriving at PSG, just like God prepared a fish to swallow Jonah in his bid to run away from God in the bible, the gods of Soccer had went ahead of Neymar to equip the young Kylian Mbappe of France. Well, initially Neymar enjoyed the front page week in week out and it seemed his quest to overthrow Messi and Ronaldo was close. But then, Kylian started dominating the scene with goals week in week out. The French kid became even more loved in france after the 2018 World Cup that saw him spearhead French attack. Scoring mouthwatering goals to fire them to the trophy.

With Mbappe returning to PSG from the World Cup, the fans were happy and cheered him every now and then. The affection of the fans became shared between Neymar and Mbappe, and as time went on, The young French kid overshadowed the Brazilian. It was the exact fate he was trying to avoid at Barcelona under Messi which made him force his move to the French club. He was expected to help the Club lift the European cup as a justification for the jumbo investment made in him. However, things hasn't turned out the way both PSG and Neymar planned.

The Brazilian's presence hasn't improved the team or take them past their European hurdles. He missed most of the parts in the tournament due to injuries and bans. Living in unparalleled luxury in the Club and giving little or nothing back has sparked the anger of some persons including the President of PSG. With the Brazilian having been on the news of recent for bad reasons, it seems PSG has finally decided to throw him into the market as teams continue to pick interest. But the Brazilian wants to head back to camp Nou despite the rumored low income he is gonna be earning at the Camp Nou if the transfer works out.

The rumours as regards a possible verbal five years agreement by the Catalan club with Neymar's agent has been greeted with lots of dissenting reactions from fans. While some are happy that the prodigal son have finally realized his mistakes, others are of the view that Barcelona should not sign him. The Brazilian is desperate for a return and wouldn't mind the pay cut in his new contract for the Catalans. It seems all that matters to him now is going back and trying to build his tainted image again. He is ready to play alongside Messi again and perhaps learn from the Barcelona captain. It is his hurdle and if he must surmount it, he must have to stay humble.
