The German super cup has come and gone as usual, of course heralding the new season, and Bayern didn't go through much stress in unleashing mayhem already on Frankfurt. Fans all over the world may have expected Frankfurt to add flesh to the skeletal frame of the match, or at least make it wear the frenzy of a final, but Bayern took advantage of the underdogs and tore them to shreds with their claws.

With two goals from Robert Lewandoski before halftime, the match seem to have been decided even before the final whistle. With an intimidating ball possession(68) by Bayern and other match statistics, one couldn't have expected Frankfurt to build castles in the air, and turn the game around, such miracles don't happen often, especially in German football where winning is Bayern's culture. The Bavarians had a rollercoaster ride, as they cruised to a Five goals win in the super cup, thereby laying hands on the trophy for Three consecutive times, now that's total dominance!

'Am pretty sure even Bayern fans would have wished for a better final, they too love good football and the tension that comes with unpredictability of a match, it adds flavour and makes the game even more worthwhile.

By now Bayern fans must have been wondering what it feels like for their favorite club to go without a silverware in a season... Am sure most of them don't even believe such is possible, Lol.

Lewandoski Puts His World Cup Woes Behind Him.

The Polish Captain and Bayern Goal poacher, Robert Lewandoski decided to put his Russia 2018 World Cup "not to impressive" Performance behind him and return to Germany to continue the Bundesliga onslaught in Bayern shirt.

Despite having squabbles in the game against the Frankfurt defence that wanted to make the match a bit uncomfortable for him, he took the battle to the air and netted his first two goals to give Bayern a two goal lead advantage. It didn't take long before he netted an hat trick, The First Hat trick in the history of German Super Cup, Congrats to Him. He had to prove to the fans that his reign as the star man in Bayern's attack is far from being over, and a hat trick was a perfect route to ply.

Does the Dominance Of Bayern Munich have any rippling effect on the team?

Now, this is pretty funny. Someone might be tempted to wonder how an excellent performance of a team would be having a negative effect on the team, but then there is, that's the beauty of Philosophy, it makes one see what he shouldn't be seeing ordinarily.

"When a man can do better than everyone else in the same walk, he does not make any very painful exertions to outdo himself. The progress of improvement ceases nearly at the point where competition ends." ___ William Hazlitt.

Bayern's dominance in German football has made them not to see the need to augment, fortify or raise the standard of their games, since there is little or no competition in the league. As they continue to dominate, they become complacent, they may never see their loopholes, since there are no strong teams to expose their cracks.

Unfortunately, these interstices or breakage in the team is brought to the fore in European Championships like the UEFA champions League, as teams like Real Madrid or Barcelona can humiliate Bayern and show them why they need to revisit the drawing boards.

It is easier for teams like AS-ROMA to beat Barca or Madrid, than Bayern. This is because ROMA has competitors like Juventus, Napoli and Inter Milan in the Seria A, and this makes them to continuously see the need to improve themselves.

The advantage of having top competitors played out in the just concluded UEFA champions League, where ROMA stunned BARCA, and almost did same to Madrid(Thanks to The referee for remedying Madrid). However, this same Madrid demolished Bayern with ease despite not having a good season in the League.

This little scenario projects the need for the German league to be competitive, if indeed the UEFA champions League will find it's way back to Germany once more.
