Good day Sports bloggers, trust we're all cool. Before I delve proper to my brief sport blog, I wish to extend my voice to those of us whom their countries are heavily under the siege of this life threatening virus. I pray and hope a lasting solution finds us and that you and your family stay fine. So today, I wish to have an interactive session with the community on what their thoughts and judgments are in relation to Maurizio Sarri's performance so far, since he was signed as Juventus coach. Do you really think the club made the right decision in firing their former coach, or from your point of view, you think they acted in error to have sacked their former manager Allegri? We will recall that the Italian giants fired their charismatic coach Massimiliano Allegri to sign Maurizio Sarri whose future at Stamford Bridge was already uncertain at that period.
Under the watch of Allegri, the Old Ladies danced to five construction Scudetos. I mean, they dominated the Seria A for half a decade. But in these years, the club seeked to lift a European Silverware which has eluded them for years, thus, they had to break the bank and sign Christiano Ronaldo whom many perceived to be a Champions league specialist, especially after the Portuguese super star helped Madrid to three Champions league Trophies. The need for European glory pushed Juventus to fire Allegri who wasn't doing bad domestically, even after reaching the champions league final with Juventus(I stand to be corrected). However, It seems Sarri isn't doing better going by events. As it stands, Juventus is currently under pressure by Inter Milan and Lazio for Seria A trophy, and a further slip by the defending champions can see them toppled. What of the Champions league which is their major target? Juventus is currently at the verge of being knocked out at the round of 16 by Lyon, after suffering a disappointing 1-0 defeat in France without a shot on target.
So what's your take on this, do you think Juve made a mistake in firing Allegri?
