The "Old ladies" have shown once again that they really don't need Christiano Ronaldo to play the drums for them to dance before they can get to glory, they have been dancing even before the arrival of the Portuguese superhero. With the champions League back on Tuesday night, Juventus hosted their visitors without their record signing, CR7. And once again, they proved to the world that Juventus is a complete team and no player's absent can bring them down.

With Ronaldo slapped with his first champions League marching order in their first game against Valencia, many would have thought that there would be a crack on the team ahead of their second game. Juventus in that match against Valencia went on to win the match 2-0 and grab the full 3 points. Even with ten men, they showed why they are a force to reckon with in European football.

So far in the champions league after Tuesday night, a total of 68 goals have been score by all the teams, with Juventus scoring 5. Seven penalties have also been conceded so far in the champions league and Juventus have scored 2 out of the 7 penalties, that was against Valencia. The Juve team have fired 27 shots so far in the champions league, 14 on target, hit the woodwork twice and have scored 5 goals in just two games. The team have one red card to their name and 3 yellow cards so far in their campaign.

Juve's quest to quensh their hunger for a European silverware is a very serious adventure, and they didn't mind breaking the bank to sign Ronaldo who seem to be a Champions League goal Dragon. The superstar has shown with Real Madrid for some years now that he is UEFA goal poacher, and has led Madrid to a history 3 consecutive Champions league wins.

The Italian giants last tasted European glory decades ago. Even though they've won the champions league two times(1995/1996, 1984/1985), the thirst for the trophy by the new generation juve team seems to be far from being satisfied. With three(3) Europa League to their name and two(2) UEFA super cup trophies(1996/1997, 1984/1985), the team have suffered a European draught and has made the most expensive signing in the the clubs history just to boost the team to victory.

With two matches played already in the champions league that Ronaldo was suppose to lead the charge for Juventus, the Portuguese red cad has prevented him from being a contributor to Juve's onslaught so far, and this begs the question, does Juventus really need "A Ronaldo" to win the UEFA champions league?

No Ronaldo, No Problems.

The Superhero arrived Italy with all hopes high to conquer Italy and also help rocket them to a European silverware glory. However the fate of Ronaldo so far in the team seems to be far from what many would have predicted. His performance so far have been very poor, "maybe he needs" , that's what they keep saying. Despite his goal draught, Juventus looks unfazed and unwavering in their title pursuit, as other team players have proved that Juventus can go far with or without Ronaldo.

The team has 21 points out of seven games in the Italian Seria A to sit at the top of the table, followed by Napoli with 15 points from seven games as well. It's been a rollercoaster ride for Juventus, scoring 16 goals so far in the league, with Ronaldo scoring just 3 of it. The record signing superstar's bad form and misfortune doesn't affect the team in a bit. This is one of their best starts to a season.

The team played their first champions league match this season against Valencia with just ten men, and yet, no one noticed that Ronaldo wasn't on the pitch. As pjanic stepped up to fire the team to a 2-0 victory. Not so many teams can withstand such unsettling moments, but this was Juve, they had something to prove to the world.

In their Second match against Young boys, it was Paulo Dybala who stepped up in the absence of the suspended Portuguese captain to fire Juventus to a deserving win on Tuesday night. The game saw Juve cruise to victory, as his Champions League hat-trick against the 10-men Young boys puts Juventus on top of the group H table.

Do you think Juventus Really Needs Ronaldo To Win The Champions League or He is just like any other player in the team?
