Good morning from here, how have you been faring in Scorum? Yeah, we're all awake that the global market is down and virtually all cryptos have been affected. The team hasn't updated us for a while now and we're hoping to see that in no distant time. Well, I will always advice us to spread our tentacle of investments, so projects like Scorum and the way it's being ran doesn't give sleepless nights. On the other side, most of the things that have been built so far are solid and are in good condition, especially the blogging platform. So let's keep catching fun and hopefully something positive will happen to bring back life here. Oh, it seems I have digressed from the topic of this blog, So let's get back to the brief match preview between Liverpool and Athletico Madrid which will be taking place on Wednesday at Anfield.

On Wednesday, all attention will be at Anfield as the current European champions Liverpool welcomes a highly defensive Diego Simeone's Athletico Madrid. Jurgen Klopp's have got a huge task against the Spanish side, as they are currently at risk of being knocked out of the competition if they fail to secure at least a 1-0 win, which will give them a life line to go into extra time. It's gonna be a very interesting encounter owing to the fact that Liverpool will have to be solid defensively and in the attack. Conceding a Goal at Anfield car mean a death blow to the home side, as Athletico can hit them on a counter. Liverpool's form and morale seems to have dropped in recent times and the number of goals they have conceded in their last five games shows there is a crack in the backline. The reds have conceded 9 goals in their last five games across all competition and these is something to worry about when you go up against a side like Athletico that is very good on counter attacks. In those previous five encounters, the reds have only managed to score five goals, showing the attack have dwindled a bit.

But then, you can't really take anything away from this Liverpool side that seems to summon their motivation from the Supernatural. We saw them turn the table against Barcelona last season and being the most dreaded team in the world currently, they know what's at stake and they're ready to bring heavens down on Wednesday. Though they is a likelihood of going into the game without their charismatic Captain Henderson, but Liverpool have proved many times that the squad isn't built around any particular player, and we saw that in their second leg against Barca when Salah wasn't fit for the game. On the other end is an Athletico Madrid side that haven't lost any game in their last five matches across all competitions. They are coming into this game to finish what they started at the Wandametropolitano. They know Liverpool will be coming all out to score in this game and trust me, Simeone have got something cooked for Liverpool. With their aggressive forward Diego Costa now fit to start the match, their attack seems ready to surprise Liverpool and I think they are coming to knock Liverpool out. They have done it Bayern and trust me, antecedence shows they can do it again.

My Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Athletico
