Saturday night may have witnessed a chant of victory from the camp of Manchester City as the Premier league champions came from two goals down to topple Swansea in their FA Cup duel. But I believe it was the opposite for Manchester United Fans. The red devils failed to learn from their premier league defeat to Arsenal, as they were humbled by the sharp claws of Wolves. I doubt if they will have anything to hold on to as an excuse for the 2-1 defeat to wolves. It was an entirely poor outing from the 2008 Champions League winners, and it makes me wonder if Ole is beginning to succumb to the heat in England.

Yesterday night's loss is the first time the Norwegian caretaker manager is being defeated consecutively. However, I will constrain myself from hitting my concerns beyond proportion because defeats are part of the game. It will be shallow to forget so swiftly his feat in recent months since taking over from Mourinho, after all, we can't always get it right all the time.

Despite staging an ovation worthy Champions league comeback against the French champions PSG after suffering 2-0 home loss, United have failed to hold on to that glorious moment in their last two games. Don't know what really happened to Manchester United, but I can tell for certain that they were no way close to their standard of play since the arrival of Ole.

Paul Pogba for me was the flop of the match. The French World Cup winner has been the engine room or if you like, the skeletal frame of Ole's team in recent weeks, however, his outing yesterday was poor and far from his standard. Could it be that Manchester United are beginning to take some English team for granted or a case of complacency?

It took a second half goals from Raul Jimenez and Diogi Jota to put the game beyond the reach of Manchester United. With the English Premier league title this season appearing too far from United, the FA Cup was a bit more feasible silverware and perhaps the most alluring for Ole. Champions league? Well, with United having been paired with Barcelona in the Quarterfinal rounds, Ole will sure need another struck of magic to go past the Spanish champions.

From yesterday's night result that saw United sent packing from the FA Cup, I will say that the possibility of Ole grabbing a silverware this season is over. Nuno Espirito's side made sure they prevented Manchester United from netting a goal in the first half, as they planned their onslaught. Ole's side didn't pull much threat as Wolves were often seen tracking back to boost their defensive line.

Romero was the more active goalkeeper of the two as he was forced to make some masterful saves before the defensive slack of his team rendered his efforts useless. Saw some good reflex from United's Romero, especially when he kept Raul Jimenez's header. However, Wolves sustained the momentum and the heat will later see them rewarded.

Finally, Romero got beaten and the goal came in an unexpected manner. Some few scrambling in the goal area saw Jiminez fire the round leather past United's net to put Wolves ahead. Wolves had plans while sitting at the heart of the defense to wade off a possible Manchester United equaliser. But with United's set piece not going as planned, Wolves took advantage and Diogo Jota outsmarted Luke Shaw before burying the ball in the heart of the net. Well, a consolation goal from Rashford at the 95th minute was far from enough to unsettle Wolves, as the game ended 2-1.
