It's no more news that some top clubs in Europe are currently on the hunt for a top class striker, either as a replacement for an aging one or a possible outgoing one. When we talk about top class that have been on the look out for a Goal poacher in the past few months, we can mention clubs like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United etc. The Spanish Champions Barcelona have been scouting the transfer market for a center forward that will take over from an aging Luis Suarez. This has made Barcelona sign some players like Anthonie Griezmann from Athletico Madrid and of recent Braithwaithe from Leganes. However, it seems they are not getting the desired class they are looking for as both players don't seem to be the perfect goal breathing dragons the club needs. This have made the catalan frontline to slack in terms of attack and Lionel Messi seems the only one who have to create most chances and also do the scoring often times. Barcelona are currently ready to break the Bank for Lautaro Martinez, whom they have been looking forward to sign from Inter for some time now. Having said that, it's also worthy of note that Barcelona are also looking at the possibilities of bringing Neymar back to the Camp Nou.

Also, at the other end is a Real Madrid side who are also gunning for a perfect replacement for Christiano Ronaldo for the past two seasons. This has pushed Los Blancos to sign Eden Hazard from Chelsea, but it seems the Belgian is not the perfect hitman, as he is more of a playmaker than a Goal poacher. Madrid have been on the neck of PSG for the signing of Kylian Mbappe whom many sports analysts have branded the perfect replacement for Ronaldo. But there are those who feel Manchester United don't need to sign another striker for now, especially with the arrival of Odiong Ighalo from China on Loan with the option to sign the Nigerian star. After missing out on the signing of Haaland to Dortmund, United made a desperate move for the former Nigerian striker on a 6 months Loan deal. So far so good, the forward have proved his mettle and Manchester United have been under pressure from fans to sign the forward on a permanent deal. The striker has netted 3 goals and one assist this month. He is also one of the nominee for United's March player of the month alongside Bruno Fernandez.

So now, the question is, do you think Manchester United should join Barca and Madrid in pursuit of a striker, having in mind that Marcus Rashford and Ighalo is already there?
