Match Predictions

Both Tottenham and Manchester United are playing excellent football at the moment. With 5 wins in a row, Manchester United is flying at the moment under Solskjaer. This one will be the toughest test for Solaskjaer as a United manager. Both teams have the good attacking players at the front, but United's back line has been pretty vulnerable throughout this season. Tottenham’s attack will surely get plenty of room at the front to cause a problem to United back line.

My Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Manchester United

With Arsenal losing this afternoon this match sets up a great opportunity for both sides. Spurs would be 10 points clear of their North London rivals with a win and it’s difficult to see how either Arsenal or United would recover to get a CL. On the other hand if United win then those 3-6 places look far more congested. United have looked to adopt a free flowing style since the managerial change but not many sides out football Spurs these days.

My Prediction: Tottenham 2-0 Manchester United

Pochettino knows he will be forgiven if fails to win the league, but I don't think he will have any cogent excuse not to qualify for the Champions League. Tottenham won't be will willing to fall into fourth place struggles, hence, they need to win. At the other end, Solksjare will be looking forward to maintaining his unbeaten run. He knows that this game is pivotal to his coaching future at old Trafford, beating Pochettino today will be a way of saying "chose me for the job."

My Prediction: Tottenham 2-2 Manchester United

It's been quite tensed and both teams have been wasteful so far. Rashford and Lingard should know what's at stake in this game, Harry Kane could make them pay. Martial has been great so far, forcing Tottenham keeper to make an important save from a tight angle. Trust me, it's hot in Wembley.

43'

This is a sad one for spurs, as one of their backbone in the midfield gets injured. Sissoko is seen looking so sad as he walks out of the pitch in pain. Of course, Erik Lamela gets in for him, I just hope this wouldn't affect them much. Game on!

31'

Harry Kane's goal was cancelled by the assistant referee. It took so much confidence to wave that flag. It's game on for United.

Goal!!

Paul Pogba picks up a lose ball and drives a long through pass to Marcus Rashford. The young forward speeds off with an amazing pace beyond the defender from the right flank, taking a low shot that finds the other end of iloris's post. Manchester united is leading 1-0 at Wembley. It's getting more interesting than I thought. It's half time and both teams will be putting heads together to consolidate their drive.

50'

Dele Ali picks up an unnecessary yellow card for tripping Paul pogba. It's the first booking for the match and spurs will have to play with more caution now. Picking a red card with one goal down could put the game beyond their reach.

71'

Lukaku is coming in for Anthony Martial. If they is any man currently standing as a stumbling block for Tottenham, it's De Gea. He has so far refused to yield to Harry Kane. Making lots of important saves to keep Manchester united on the lead. It's still 1-0 to United, game on!

76'

Paul Pogba picks up a yellow card for a making a strong challenge on Ali. He should be careful now. Tottenham is mounting so much pressure, let's hope United survives this heat.

82'

Dalot comes in to replace Lingard. Tottenham earlier brought in Llorente to boost strength upfront. With 8 minutes to go, Tottenham have a mountain to climb. Let's see how this goes.

Final Whistle!

After 90+4'

Manchester United wins 1-0 at Wembley. What a game, so much fanfare and emotions. It's time for Solksjare to be picked as a full time manager, don't you think so? If only I could find the right word to describe the excellence of De Gea! He is no doubt the best in the world. With Champions league hopes beginning to build for the reds, they can only be hopeful under the watchful eyes of magical Ole!
