Good evening guys, I trust we're catching fun here. Alright, so this evening I will be taking a shot at the Seria A, a league I seem to have lost interest in following about a year ago. The unchallenged dominance of Juventus in the Italian league for almost a decade now have been a source of worry for me. Being a football fan that enjoys competitive and tension filled atmosphere, the rollercoaster ride the "Old Ladies" were having in their domestic football made my interest in Italian tournaments or competitions to decline drastically. Just in case you've forgotten or not aware, Juventus are on a quest of lifting the league trophy for the 9th time in a row, now that's scary! In fact, it won't be out of place if I say that winning the "Scudetto" is now a tradition for Juve, and the inability of other teams to give them a run for their money makes them Lords of Italian football. However, recent statistics and results have shown that the tides and times have fast changing, and not only is Juventus not leading the chase for this season's Scudetto, we have up to three teams as title contenders.

With the defending champions suffering a shocking 2-1 defeat to Hellas Verona, and Inter staging a comeback from two goals down to defeat AC Milan 4-2, the league table has been reshuffled, with Conte's side topping with Goa difference. Both Inter and Juventus have 54 points from 23 games so far and this is a reflection of how tough this campaign is getting for Juve. A further look at the table, one will notice that it's not even only Inter Milan and AC Milan that are in tight contention for the league trophy, Lazio are really maintaining a close gap, with just one point differenciating them from Inter and Juve. Lazio is currently sitting third on the table with 53 points from 23 matches games as well and they appear fired up to upset anyone that stands on their way. Inter on the other hand are pursuing the 19th Scudetto while for Juventus, it will be their 36th if they win it. From all indications, it seems any of these three teams can win the league this season and this situation have piqued my dwindling interest towards the Italian league. Who do you think will lift the trophy this time?
