Following the defeat, Everton fans were not about to hide their frustration over the managerial prowess of Rafa Benitez.

During the session of the game, a handful of banners went flying in a bid to vent frustration. Many containing statements suggesting they want Rafa Benitez out of the club.

As a manner of expressing frustration, a fan invaded the pitch, but was quickly apprehended by the stewards on ground.

He insisted that he was at Everton to repair a problem. An underlying problem that has been there for years. Hence, he would need time to get his thoughts and ideas into the minds of the players.
