REVEALED: Aaron Wan Bissaka and Luke Shaw have a lot to do if they desire to be regular starters under Ralf Ragnick

English pundits have shared their thoughts on who could be the first choices in the right and left back role for Manchester United.

Previously, under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the British pair of Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan Bissaka were the number one options. However, things could change with the appointment of new boss Ralf Ragnick.

Due to their playing style, forcing their way into the Manchester United setup would be a tough one for Wan Bissaka and Luke Shaw.

Ralf Ragnick's preferred choice

His first game in charge came against Crystal Palace. It was no doubt a tough encounter. However, Manchester United came out as eventual winners against the Palace side.

A noteworthy absence was that of Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan Bissaka.

On his part, Wan Bissaka was relegated to the bench and replaced by Diogo Dalot. And the other end, Luke Shaw remains out injured while Alex Telles stood in his place.

Ralf Ragnick's style of play

The new Manchester United manager has been clear about his style of play. He expects his wingers to press high up the pitch and win the ball in offensive territories.

This is a style of play, that requires the full backs to be agile and posses strong ball playing abilities. Which the likes of Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan Bissaka have not been known for.

Overview

With the way things are panning out, Luke Shaw and Wan Bissaka would have a lot to do if they desire to become regular starters under Ralf Ragnick.

Although, it is not an impossible duty, it would not be an easy one as well.
