REVEALED: Rio Ferdinand insists Elanga is not a World Class youngster

In the post-match Champions League analysis, Manchester United legends Michael Owen and Rio Ferdinand shared their thoughts on Anthony Elanga's performance.

According to Owen, Elanga is still not at the level where he can be described as a world-class winger. Owen believes that despite Elanga coming up with a crucial goal, pundits would be wrong to describe the youngster as world-class.

No doubt, so far, Elanga has given a good account of himself in recent times. The Champions League game against Atletico Madrid told the whole story.

The 19-year-old Swedish international came off the bench to give Manchester United a much-needed equalizer against the Spanish topflight team.

The importance of Elanga's goal cannot be overemphasized. Particularly bearing in mind that Atletico Madrid were not only one goal ahead, but had previously hit the woodwork twice.
