Hello and welcome to the Real Madrid latest transfer news and rumours! Here are the top stories surrounding the Galacticos tonight!

There were reports of Real Madrid closing the deal for Eder Militao with Porto but it seems like those reports were merely stories. According to Graham Hunter, Manchester United are still in the hunt for him.

He revealed that the Red Devils are in love with his pace and physicality. As a result, they will attempt to sign him – if not in the in the winter, then in the summer.

“They like his speed, they like the simplicity of his game, they like his physique and it seems clear that he won’t be much longer at Porto," Hunter said.

“If it doesn’t happen in this window, I would expect it to happen in the summer for sure barring a very bad injury on the part of the player.”

Hunter then admitted that the Brazilian had been scouted by numerous clubs before but Porto were the ones who brought him out of Brazil.

Even then, however, the top clubs have continued watching him and they are now impressed with how he has adapted to European football in the Portuguese and the Champions league - something that is quite challenging for South American talents.

“He’s a player who’s been scouted by top clubs in Europe last summer, but Porto had been prepared to take him out of Sao Paolo and obviously the top clubs have continued to scout him.

“They’re now watching him play Champions League players and play for Porto at the top of the Portuguese League.

“And they like even more what they see now he’s in Europe, he’s taken that step, he’s entered that adaptation process which can be quite difficult for South Americans.”

Kylian Mbappe spoke on the possibility of joining the Galacticos somewhere down the line. The Blancos were very close to signing him in 2017 but PSG beat them to it.

However, that hasn’t stopped the rumours from going away, especially after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Merengues are yet to replace the Portuguese and while it is incredibly hard for them to do so, Mbappe is the only player that could – to a huge extent – fill the void left by the departure of the former Manchester United superstar.

And the youngster himself has refused to rule out a move.

"I'm very happy with how things are going for me at Paris Saint Germain, I'm under contract until 2021 and so now's not the moment to think about anything else,” he said.

"I'm fine here, but in football - and the future, you never know.”

Both Neymar and Eden Hazard have been frequently linked to the Galacticos ever since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. While the deal for Neymar seems more unlikely, Hazard is apparently close to joining the Merengues.

According to Marca, the Belgium captain is inching closer and closer to a move to the Santiago Bernabeu with each passing day. The price set on his head by Chelsea is €100 million but Madrid hope to bring it down due to the fact that his contract ends in the summer of 2020.

Meanwhile, Don Balon claim that Neymar is pressurising Florentino Perez to make a move for him by revealing that he has received three offers, one each from Manchester United, Manchester City and Barcelona.

The Galacticos, however, are undecided between him and Mbappe.
