As the world awaits earnestly but patiently for a vaccine or a cure for the new Covid-19 virus, the world sports cannot be said to be as patient as the rest of the world. Indication is rife that many football clubs and other mega sports are ready and willing to risk their players lives with their call for the commencement of training as soon as possible.

Far away in England, Sergio Aguero made the front page of newspapers when said "is afraid" in an interview with the famous Spanish show El Chiringuito! And this sentence did not go unnoticed across nor did it went well for some people. It appears that the Argentinian is acting as a spokesperson for the Premier League players who share in his stance and fear to be rushed into returning to competition. "I'm scared but I'm here with my girlfriend and I'm not going to have contact with anyone else. I'm home bound and the only person I can infect is my girlfriend. ", said Aguero. He describe other players and club owners who are eager to return as vicious when no cure and vaccine is found yet.

Not too far from the EPL is Spain, and this time around it is a Frenchman who makes the front page of the newspapers. According to the Catalan newspaper, Quique Setien counts on Ousmane Dembele for next season! Dembele who is currently injured for a long time, the 2018 World champion takes advantage of this current situation to put himself back to shape. And when he returns to the field, the Barcelona coach cant wait to put him properly into shape for the season ahead!

A stone throw away in Italy, Juventus is waiting for their star player Cristiano Ronaldo! Ronaldo also made the front page of the newspapers with his declaration of "I'm here"! CR7 as Ronaldo is popularly known returns to Turin, so Juve is good to go and firmly intends to start training again as soon as possible. It is said that with the coming of Ronaldo, the club is anxiously waiting for the return of some of the players who are presently in their respective homes abroad.

With deferring sentiments prevailing against and for the return of footballers back to training across different countries and football leagues of the world, i can only but say that there is the need to tread with caution. It is very clear that the world out there is desperately seeking for a way to defeat the scourge bedeviling it right now.

Businesses no doubt are dying and people are loosing their jobs to say nothing of the huge losses companies are incurring because of the new Covid-19 virus. But the truth is that this sorry situation is not peculiar to football or sports alone. There is no segment of the society and its means of livelihood that is not grossly affected. So, club owners should tarry a little and suppress the urge to get back to making their millions when there is no end in sight of the Corona virus pandemic.

Other football stars who are eager to get back to action should put a reign to their eager legs. It is when there is life and good health that football or any other sports can be played. Waiting a little more wouldn't do much harm and i am sure non of them is suffering in penury at the moment.

Also, the football fans who have been urging for the return of the game as quickly as possible should slow down a little, If the football stars contracted the deadly disease and die off at the end, who will they come to the stads to watch play? Surely not the row of seats or the beautiful greenery of the football pitches.
