It's going well for Jammerbugt FC at the moment. Saturday it was Dalum IF, with a chance to break down the Blue Wave, and although "The Red" from the island Fyn (Funen) have had a pretty good season so far, they had to accept to go back home from the Northern part of Jutland, the home of Jammerbugt FC, empty-handed.
Both teams had played cup matches against Super League teams a few days earlier and they had both been so very close to play their way into the next round. Sadly neither team was rewarded for the efforts. Their heavy performances did, however, result in tired legs, but what was more important, both teams came out of the game with a strengthened belief in their own abilities.
As a result these good vibes had to be followed up with some great performance in the 2nd division, and the home team from The Bay did just that. Well organized and well playing, Jammerbugt FC started the game the best. It gave a few good opportunities early on in the match, and already after eight minutes it paid off.
Viktor Ahlmann, who was involved in most of Jammerbugt FC's offense play this day, did a great job as he broke through on the right. He passed the ball across the goal, but it never reached a teammate. Instead it was directed into goal by a Dalum IF player and it was now 1-0 to Jammerbugt FC.
As the minutes passed, the guests got more on the ball, but it was Jammerbugt FC who dictated what they did with it. No chances was given away by a solid and fully focused home team. In the other end, Jammerbugt FC created several good opportunities to increase the lead, but it was only the cold wind on the day that caused the net to flutter for the remaining first 45 minutes.
Of situations worth mentioning in this first half of the game Ahlmann had a good attempt heading towards goal, in another situation he was clear and in front of goal ready to execute, tried to find Sead Gavranovic instead and the chance was missed. Young Max Møller who was part of the starting line up again had a good attempt on goal, despite the many chances, however, 1-0 remained until the break at half time.
Going into the final phase of the match it was still 1-0, and as we all know anything can happen in those final minutes, and it was close, but the Jammerbugt FC players kept calm and cleared the ball before it became really dangerous. And then Viktor Ahlmann took action.
With twenty minutes to go, Ahlmann caught the ball on the left side and he raced to the backline, cutting in from the left, stepping back into the field and hammered the ball into the net. The cold wind had gone by then, but now the net was stretched to the breaking point. What an unstoppable bullet. In a straight line, it cut through the defense and goalkeeper to hit the back of the net. A fantastic solo performance had really taken out any suspense left of this game. It was 2-0 and there was no way back for Dalum IF.
Jammerbugt FC won a well-deserved victory - the sixth in a row - and once again with a clean sheet. This time after a flawless performance. The goal score in the last five games is now 12-0 and ahead awaits a real fight at the top against 1 and 2, when Jammerbugt FC takes on number two in the league, Kolding IF, on Friday night October 5th. Both teams are unbeaten this season. It will be a big challenge, but the team seems to be ready for it.
A special occasion this day came as well with the acknowledgement of another great achievement in the win against Dalum IF, and came from Jammerbugt FC’s 22 year old back left defense, who has played at the club since the age of 5. Mads Larsen could celebrate his 100th match playing for the club's first team. Mads is one of the club's own local players and another success story about the positive development the club is going through right now. Mads was one of many players from the club's youth academy, who was in the lineup for this game.

Contributor of the articles of Jammebugt FC - Stats & History
My name is Thomas Jansen and my history with the club starts back in my childhood, where I at a young age started playing for the club. I have been doing so ever since. Unfortunately, I do not play that much anymore, but instead I am active outside the field.
For the last ten years, I have been taking care of many different tasks in and around Jammerbugt FC. To name a few, I have been taking care of the clubs foreign players, assisting with players contracts and registration, coordinated logistics associated with the 1st team, worked with sponsorship, the brand of club and the development of the club in general. All as part of the clubs great team of people working behind the scene.
These days I am in charge of communications associated with the clubs first team and the under 17 and under 19 academy teams. Still, just like when I started as a 6 year old, I do it with great passion for soccer in general and for Jammerbugt FC in particular.
