The premier league is set to be back this weekend with exciting clashes all over the country. The December period is well and truly on the way as teams battle it out for the points that are up for grabs during this period. One of such teams is Brighton and they would be hoping a Bournemouth side that has largely underperformed in recent times. Bournemouth would be hoping to end their woeful run when they play hosts to Brighton

Bournemouth is one team who has had a mixed start to the season. The season started pretty awesomely for them and they quickly rose to sixth place in the standings. However, a series of losses and injury concerns have left their season in jeopardy. For most teams, this really is the best time to play struggling teams and Bournemouth definitely fits this category. Brighton, on the other hand, would be happy at the state which they have found them and would be looking to inflict much more injury to their cause.

When it comes to the form of both teams, there is no doubt which team would come out on top. Bournemouth as earlier started has gone through a rough patch recently. This has been further computed by the woes which they face against Chelsea during the last carabao quarterfinals. They would be desperate to change their form and Eddie Howe no doubt would have one or two tricks up his sleeves when they met. They have lost six games in the premier league out of their last seven and things are looking quite gloomy for them at the moment. However, they would take confidence from the fact that Bournemouth has never lost to Brighton at home in the history of the club. Brighton would be hoping that their recent good form would be enough to propel them over Bournemouth. However, Chris Hughton has said that there is never an easy time to play Bournemouth as they remain a quality capable of beating anyone.

Line-Ups

Bournemouth, however, is set to face some issues with their line-ups. They are quite some injury problems persisting in this side and it is very unlikely that their captain Simon Francis would play any part in this game. He looks like he is suffering from a groin injury and is set to spend something on the sidelines. Other injury concerns which Bournemouth would face would be to Lewis Cook and Adam Smith. They would be hoping that despite the injury concerns they have, the home support plus other quality players at their disposal would be enough to pull them through. Brighton would be without their winger Jose who is still nursing a knee injury. Apart from this, they have almost a clean bill of health and they would itching to face this Bournemouth team. It remains to be seen if Bournemouth has the willpower to power to victory or whether it would just be another loss to add to their long list of recent defeats.
