While Chelsea battles for the top four, Burnley are at the other end of the table. They are not in serious threat of relegation as they are about 8 points clear of the drop. However, they would want to improve their league standing before the end of the season. They are currently in 15th position with about 4 matches to go. They have managed to amass about 39 points. They would be hoping to get some wins as this would surely help in making sure that they have a better finish to the season.
Form
When it comes to the form of both teams, there is no doubt that Chelsea has a much better form than Burnley. Chelsea has managed to win five of their last six games in all competitions. The only loss which they have suffered came against Liverpool when they fell to a 2-0 loss in Anfield. They would be hoping to change all that when they meet Burnley in the league.
Burnley, on the other hand, would be happy with their form. They have managed to win three of their last six games. The remaining matches have ended in losses. However, their three wins have come in their last three matches. They would want to continue their winning streak when they meet Chelsea. However, this would surely be no mean feat as Chelsea would be desperate to get a win here over them.
