We simply live for the English premier league and boy are we glad that it is back. The English premier league is set to return this Friday to our TV screens as the race for ultimate glory begins once again. There is just so much at stake in the league this season as teams map out their goals and move towards it. It is also a time for excitement for the teams who are promoted to the EPL this season as they would be eagerly looking forward to their first games here. One thing which would surely not be interested in doing so would be no other than Norwich City. They start their campaign on Friday with a scary trip to Anfield. Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to the EPL.

Liverpool

Liverpool has had a sad preseason which culminated with a loss in the community shield against their main rivals to the title this season Manchester City. However, for most people, they were quite unlucky to lose that game as they played extremely well and could have won the game by more than a single goal. With the form they shown in that game, Norwich City would be braced for a difficult test in the league. Liverpool should have their front trio ready for the game as they intend to start the league on a bang. They lost just once last season. It is a wonder if any sort of result this season for them can beat that record.

Norwich

Norwich would have been feeling heavenly when they first heard that they were on their way to the premier league. Yes, they worked hard for it and were rewarded for their efforts. However, they would have prayed for an easy match to start their stay here. However, a trip to Anfield is what they are facing. They would have their chance to make a real statement here with even a draw at the European champions' home. However, there are only a few teams who have done that in recent seasons. You could count them completely with your fingers. It is surely a hard task which is ahead of them. Their momentum though would give them a glimmer of hope.

Unbeaten in six games, Norwich appear to be on a roll. However, most of their adventures took place in the championship. The games which they would face in the EPL is a different ball game and they would have to play extremely well if they are to stay up this season. A win here would hardly have any impact in terms of points at the end but it could give them a real morale booster which could last well into the season. Liverpool would, however, be looking to start a winning streak which could propel them to the top of the table. For the players in Liverpool, the goal this season for them would probably be to go undefeated. Who is Norwich City to stand in the way of the champions?
