The ICC is known as a competition which is played during the preseason. Like most tournaments during this time, the teams are usually not fit or are simply not on their toes when playing this game. However, going far here is usually a confidence booster for most teams before the season starts. We are now in the last stages of the ICC cup and many teams have already ended their stay in the competition. Manchester United and AC Milan are one of the last teams left and they would be happy to add this game to their number of wins already acquired in the ICC. Yes, there are still hot games left in this preseason and Saturday would entertain us to yet another one.

Manchester United

Then principality stadium is set to be the stadium where it all goes down. Just looking at the records of Manchester United would you grasp why they have gotten to this stage so far. With wins against Inter Milan who are rivals to their opponents here and their English rival, Tottenham is just some of the teams which they have had to face on their way here. There has also been a bit of positive news coming from off the pitch as moves to get Paulo Dybala seems to be paying off in a deal meant to swap Lukaku. However, there are fears that the striker role might take a huge blow based on this transfer. However, as far as they keep winning on the pitch, there would certainly be no problem.

AC Milan

AC Milan was having a great field day until their recent losses in the ICC. However, despite their losses, they have been able to seal a match here against the red devils. There can be no doubt that they are one of the most successful teams in Italy and indeed the whole world. However, the past decade has been rough for them. They are currently on a rebuilding process and that seems to be paying off. This is yet another season for that process and they are entering it quite positively, to say the least.

The only thing that they would be concerned with would be their form. It’s been a great time to be in Manchester United. Five wins out of their last six. No losses yet this preseason and a marquee signing on the way, they are looking good for this match and in extension, the complete season. However, they would have to play well when they come face to face with the Italian giants.

With AC Milan, they would no doubt be annoyed about their recent losses in the ICC which has also impacted on their momentum. However, they can put all that behind them with a win here. With Manchester United once again out of the champions league, they would have to get a good start to the league this season. Without that, it would prove to be very difficult to move ahead this season for them.
