Christiano Ronaldo is bound to pay the Income tax officials a huge sum of 19 million euros (152 crore rupees).

Portugal star player who recently left Real Madrid and joined Italian Juventus Club has been found accountable for a sum as huge as 19 billion euros by the income tax department of his very own country that is Spain.

The legal party that is the official party dealing with Portugal star's case made a statement in Madrid, Spain that Ronaldo's advisors and income tax officials came to a consensus according to which Ronaldo will be exempted from 2 years jail but will have to pay a heavy fine.

Spain has a particular set of laws and guidelines it abides by and as per those guidelines they came to a conclusion regarding Ronaldo's case. Normally in Spain for a non-violent crime a person instead of going to jail can pay for the days instead. This means a person can instead of living in jail pay for his days outside on daily basis .For Ronaldo the fine on daily basis was around 20 thousand rupees a day. Ronaldo was punished with a fine of 3.2 million and 24 months in jail.

33 years old Portugal star and new member of Italian club of Juventus, Ronaldo has been denying all the allegations. Except for the fine Ronaldo owes an amount of 42 crores of tax money and 250 euros (twenty thousand rupees) per day for 24 months.

Ronaldo's fradulent case involves him been hiding his possessions in Spain from the Spain Income Tax officials. Spanish officials stated that Ronaldo for the term 2011-2014 was late in declaring revenue for his acquired money of 11.5 million euro(approximately ninety-two crore rupees ) when his country's earning that is Spain's earning in that duration was 43 million euros (three hundred forty three crore rupees).

If this thing had not stopped them the star, Ronaldo would have to pay 28 million euros (two hundred twenty three crore rupees) as fine and had to stay behind the bars for a jail term of 3.5 years. He is not the first one going through all this and this has not happened for the first time. Another one of our football star Lionel Messi has been through the same for incoke tax fraud.
