UEFA took action after Manchester United and Liverpool complained last season.

The new season of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League will have a price limit for tickets for the guest team supporters! In UCL, the limit was set at 70 euros, while in the Europa League the limit was set at 45 euros.

The UEFA announcement comes after Manchester United and Liverpool protested last season after fans of both teams paid 116 euros for a ticket to move from Barcelona. The two clubs then overcharged Barcelona fans and the extra income was redistributed to supporters who had traveled to Barcelona.

The executive director of Football Supporters Europe, Ronan Evain, applauded the decision of UEFA in an official statement, but he mentioned that the limit is still too high. At the end of the current season, the measure will be evaluated and the amount of money will be reduced, Evain said.
