You would forgive any England fan for having a case of temporary amnesia during the England vs Croatia game when it came to Harry Kane. I too forgot at times that he was on the pitch and was left trying to remember who he was all together! If he was on the field, he certainly wasn't taking his rightful position upfront most of the time against Croatia. He looked tired, out of sorts and off the pace of play.

How many crosses where Kane was not even in the box? Plenty that's how many...

Then when he did figure, he produced a poor shot from what was one of our best chances and arguably should have squared to the adjacent England player for an easy tap in.

Harry Kane who has so far enjoyed some amazing performances during this world cup for England was nowhere to be found when England really needed him, ironically in the same fashion as Lukaku for Belgium vs France. I had actually predicted this behaviour from Lukaku but to also see the other top goal scorer of the tournament follow in Lukaku's drab under-performing footsteps was a big surprise for me.

Will we be asking the same question tonight against Belgium or will his presence be as obvious as night follows day. Time will tell but one thing is for sure, if we want any chance of beating Belgium tonight, we can't afford for him to go AWOL and leave England fans asking Harry Who? during the match.

Feel free to share your match predictions. I am sitting out of this prediction, still demoralised from our semi final exit.
