They strive to say they do not look alike, but Patrick Cutrone does not stop making merits to be considered, rightly, the new 'Pippo' Inzaghi.

When Cutrone was born, Inzaghi had already won a 'Scudetto' and was one of the best footballers in the country. At that time he played in Juventus, although it was in San Siro that he became a legend.

At first glance they do not have much to see. Inzaghi, ungainly, thin, apparently uncoordinated, always wearing that half mane; Cutrone measures two centimeters more (1.83), is stronger, has that air of 'millennial' gals. They do share the distinctive feature of area predators: the goal beats in their blood.

Against Parma, Cutrone scored a key goal. He turned gold into a ball that flew through the clouds. His volley put the 1-1 and allowed the team 'rossonero' put the first stone of the comeback.

This goal, the seventh so far this season, clearly demonstrates the type of player Cutrone is, a striker who knows the dimensions of the area well, a goalkeeper as confirmed by the following data: all the goals he has done campaign has achieved a touch.

Against Roma, he received a filtered pass from Higuaín and put it flat against the post; against Olympiacos, who made two, scored one head and another riveted to goal at the far post; against Betis, likewise finishing off a loose ball in the small area; against Sampdoria, head goal at the far post; before the Dudelange, without touching it, he turned around and defined himself as left-handed; and against Parma, the aforementioned volley.

All these goals he did without needing a previous touch. Inzaghi added more than 300 goals in his career and the vast majority in the area and a touch. He knew how to position himself, where to receive it, how to put it in. He was not the best, nor the most powerful or the most skilled, but he was the smartest. Cutrone goes down this road.

Even Gattuso, who was a teammate of Inzaghi and is now a Cutrone coach, has compared them. "I admire Cutrone, he has everything to be an important forward," said 'Pippo' before the match between Milan and Bologna, the team he leads.

In fact, Inzaghi was a coach in the Milan academy and had Cutrone at his command. "I would not make these comparisons, when I arrived in Milan nobody compared me to Van Basten or Weah," said the former footballer. Cutrone does not pay attention to the similes either, but his goals insist on doing the opposite.
