Frank Lampard made the smartest move this season by making Mendy Chelsea number goal keeper because he really does incredible savings for Chelsea. Although Mendy made one careless mistake that would have cost Chelsea a lot, he did a lot of saves and frustrated Manchester United through out the full time. The full time results should not be really surprising if you watched the way second half started off, both teams seemed strong, created opportunities as the opponent blocked the space so it looked like it would end in a nil or 2 goals in the game shared by both teams still giving us a draw because both teams were in control.

McTominay being placed in the midfield shows just how much Manchester United was so cautious about losing this game and Chelsea had most of their top players on the pitch also showing that they knew it wasn't gonna be an easy game at Old Trafford but they were ready to press for a win or snatch a point somehow. Some creativity from Juan Mata and brilliant performance from Rashford and great defensive tactics displayed by Zouma for Chelsea.

Debatable possible penalties for both teams, Maguire fouls a Chelsea player in the danger area while trying to do his job when a corner was being taken, where as Rashford was possibly checked by Silva(in contact with Silva in the box) though VAR denied the Red Devils a penalty and didn't look at the possibility of a penalty for Chelsea. I honestly think that Maguire incident should have resulted in a penalty had the referee looked at the VAR, it was quite obvious. First half ended goalless, started off with a solid performance from Chelsea but after a good bit of pressing Manchester United must have figured they needed to take this seriously because Chelsea wasn't going to be easy to crack so they got lively and increased the tension some more in second but so did Chelsea.

On the other side of competitions, Real Madrid took full 3 points from Barcelona at Camp Nou in El Classicó. Barcelona had every opportunity to win this game, they dominated possession although they had less shots and shots on target than Real Madrid, had quite a huge number of passes compared to Real Madrid but the lads did a great job in slowing them down before they could hit the back of the net especially Ramos who was up to challenge the opponents. Madrid broke the deadlock after 5 minutes, they sure started off stronger although Barcelona gained momentum after Fati's goal in the 8th minute. Lenglet didn't handle the pressure from Madrid so well in the second half and ended up earning his opponents a penalty that Ramos took so well and scored a second goal. Luca Modric further sealed the win for Madrid in the last minute. The great Barcelona has lost two games in a row, I'm sure they now know there's need to work things out.
