Due to the increase in covid 19 pandemic, it is believed that Steven Gerrard the Aston Villa boss will sit out of the game between Chelsea and also the Leeds United game on 28th of December.

The Aston Villa board confirmed this on their official website, as they wrote to the premier league club that Steven Gerrard their manager won't be attending the game against Chelsea due to the Rapid spread in Covid 19, and due to that he will have to isolate himself for the next few days.

During the weekend, the game between Burney and Aston Villa was postponed due to a similar reason of covid 19, and Steven Gerrard and Aston Villa will hope after the game between then and Chelsea tomorrow, their game against Leeds will be postponed due to the high rise of Covid in the Leeds squad which led to the postponement of their game against Liverpool.

And when that game is postponed it will give Steven Gerrard enough time to recover from Covid. Steven Gerrard has equally given his opinion regarding the issue of the covid and said that the covid is affecting his players.

But after that the player who Steven Gerrard said was in his car was tested and he was negative and at this point of the Christmas players need to be careful and protect their health to be with their loved ones as well, and equally spend more time with then.

So will hope that the premier league should be able to put the health of the players first and also staff and the coaching staff in consideration when making decisions.
