Today is the day that fans have been waiting for since Chelsea And Leicester City qualified for the Emirates Cup Final.
Both teams encountered a lot of difficulties before reaching the Fa Cup Final, Chelsea defeated Man City while Leicester cruised past Manchester United.
Chelsea vs Leicester City game was filled with a lot of intensity, aggressiveness, and Fighting spirit, the first 45 minutes of the game started really for the Blues as they were very composed on the ball, while Leicester, On the other hand, was playing a counter-attacking game against Tuchel's Boys. The first half ended in a Goalless Draw.
In the second 45 minutes, Tuchel's men came with full force, but they were giving a shocker in the 63rd minute, an unstoppable goal by Tielemans which Kepa couldn't reach to. Reinforcement was brought in to change the game but Leicester Won their first Fa Cup final.
After Chelsea lost the game to Brendan Roger's boys, Tuchel had something to say about their loss.
Thomas Tuchel who was confident ahead of their Clash with the Foxes said, "We are not angry at our performance or boys, we did enough to win it. We weren't lucky enough to win.", "I was happy with the work rate and intensity but our decision-making was too hectic. We were too straight upfront, we tried to force it.", he added on, "back-to-back defeats could kill momentum?: "There's no team that never loses in sports. It is about coming back and bouncing back, showing mentality, and believing on Tuesday. We missed a trophy and we have two finals vs Leicester and Villa, then another final."
Chelsea are a great team, but their performances in Finals are troubling as they've lost 8 of their last 11 finals.
