Former owner of AC Milan and Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has become an owner of S.S.Monza 1912, a club that currently plays in Italian Serie C.

The 72-year-old Berlusconi has bought 100% club's shares from the Colombo family. Monza's management will now include Adriano Galliani, who was Milan's vice-president in the past, as well as Berlusconi's brother Paolo, Adriano Galliani and Danilo Pellegrino.

Currently Monza top the Group 2 of the Serie C with three wins in as many matches.
