After four years at Manchester United, the Dutch defender Daley Blind is coming back to his home club Ajax Amsrerdam.

The clubs have agreed on a £14.1m transfer fee, which could rise to £18.5m with performance-based add-ons.

The 28-year-old player, who is the son of the former Ajax defender and Holland's national coach Danny Blind, is a graduate of Ajax academy, and he played for the main team between 2008 and 2004.

Following his successful performance for Holland at 2014 World Cup, Blind moved to Manchester United, where he has played 90 matches in the Premier League.

However, last season his role was limited to just 7 games, and with Jose Mourinho clearly giving preference to other defenders, Blind opted to return to Holland.
