Everybody is talking about Liverpool, lets look at it from the Cardiff point of view. Analysis on the season thus far for cardiff city.

Cardiff who were looking to make a mark after last week 4:2 home win to another struggling side,fulham. So far cardiff city has suffered heavy defeats from all premiere league top four teams, conceeding 16 goals in the process and scoring just four, 5 at home againt Manchester city, 4:1 at Stamford bridge against the blues and they showed some resilience against arsenal before Alexandre lacazette score the winner to finish up the game for the gunners 2:3.
Currently Cardiff city tie in points with their fellow newly prompted side Fulham, at 5 points, only goal difference separates the two sides, keeping Cardiff one place away from the relegation zone. They have lost 7 matches from the 10 games played, last week home victory against Fulham still remains their only win so far this season, with draws at Newcastle and hudderfield.
The Big question is, What happened to the high flying bluebirds? a team who finished second place in the championship last season with an amazing 27 wins, 9 draws and just 10 losses, scoring 69 goals in the process and conceeding 39, which saw them finishing second place with 9 points behind winners Wolverhampton(99 points).
So what changed? Could it be the manager's tactics?
Coah Neil Warnock, has been Cardiff city manager since 2016, over 90% of the games played last season which saw them gain promotion to the premiere league, he used 4-3-3 formation, And sometimes you do wonder why managers leave their working formular to an entirely new tactics, which most times players finds it difficult to cope with and they struggle to win games. Coming to the premiere league the manager swtiched from his traditional 4-3-3, to rotating between a 4-4-1(used mostly), 4-4-2 and 4-1-4-1 formations.
Could it be from the players?
Cardiff city still have over 12 players who finished the fine run last season with them, and still added more players before the season started. The likes of
*Josh Murphy from Norwich *Bobby Reid from Bristol city * Harry Arter from Bournemouth * Victor camarasa from real Betis.
But the team still find theirself short to compete in the premiere league. Though one could argue that the season is still young, but the bluebirds of cardiff, has plenty of work to do if they truly want to stay in the premiere league.

One major problem cardiff city face is their defence line, and the coach is yet to realise that, in the premiere league if you can't score goals then you shouldn't allow too many goals into your own net,and that's why underdog teams like Wolverhampton are doing well. Just a quarter of the total matches to be played and Cardiff city find themselves conceeding 23 goals already.
In conclusion cardiff city needs to revisit their drawing board and coach Neil, have to work on his tactics.
