How has the eagle sent to bring vision to the helpless cottagers find itself sinking inside the swamp? The eagle couldn’t fly and the heavy storm of the English premier league is threatening to swallow it, this is the case of current Fulham manager Claudio Ranieri.
The former Chelsea and Leicester boss took over the managerial post for the club in what seem like a messiah has come to uplift them from their poor start to the league but things kept on going haphazardly for him and his team. After a cracking game to steal the victory on his first game at home against Southampton, he has managed just one points ever since then suffering a total of the losses.
First day at the office
Fulham management were becoming impatience with then boss Slavisa Jokanovic who was on a winless run for the club which prompted his sack and on the 14 of November the Italian boss was announced as the new coah of the team, ten days later it was time to face his first test at home against the saints and fans were full of hopes for a positive result for the new manager.
Though fulham was shocked with an 18-minute goal from saints Stuart Armstrong who gave his side the lead, but Ranieri’s men soon woke up from their slumber to score twice in ten minutes before half time. Southampton replied again with another goal from Armstrong eight minutes into the second half to level the game at 2-2. Ten minutes later it was serbia’s Mitrovic to steal the win for his new boss, the match ended 3-2 in favour of fulham and a new Era was insight.
Test against Mr sarri
Claudio Ranieri faced a big test against the inform Chelsea side, but they were hopes that the good luck charm of their boss will help them savage something from the game. But all hopes didn’t take too long to get smashed when Pedro found the back of the net four minutes into the encounter. Fulham didn’t let their guards down while still in search of an equalizer, but all efforts went down the drain as the blues cemented their victory with another goal from English man Loftus-Cheek at the 83 minutes.
Fulham faced the foxes
They picked up their selves and headed into this matchup to try and get the much needed win to boost the morale of the team, but still things continue to go the opposite direction even after taking the lead in the game they gave up their lead 74 minutes into the match and it ended in a disappointing draw.
Manchester roller coaster and Westham humbling
United were in their good days when they faced fulham and didn’t show mercy at all as they fired four times pass Sergio Rico the fulham goal keeper. The cottagers lone goal was just a consolation for them as Manchester united didn’t give them any breathing space throughout the game.
After the Manchester match Ranieri’s men faced the hammers who didn’t fail to hammer two first half goals pass them which was enough for westham to take all three points.
The loss keeps piling up for the Italian Manager and the question on every fans lips is can he save from relegation?
My word for Claudio
you raised Leicester from just premier league survivals to crown champions, and fulham believes in your qualities and that’s why they brought you in to deliver them from the face of relegation.
Is time for the lion in you to rise, is time roar, is time to go hunting, is time to feast, we know what you can do, the time has come to soar higher like an eagle.
