This meeting was hailed as the hit of the 29th round of Ligue 1. Paris Saint-Germain, which can already be calm for the title of champion, was hosted by the Parc des Princes, Olympique Marseille. The charges of Rui Garcia wanted to check out a surprise in this match. They are currently in excellent condition. The last league match they lost on February 2nd. Fans of the Marseille team were hoping for another great performance of Mario Balotelli, who scored five goals in seven games played so far.

From the first minutes the match was very balanced. There was a lot of fighting on the pitch, but there was a lack of action components. Individual rallies of individual players did not bring the expected results. The ball landed in the net for the first time in the 16th minute. The hosts brought out an excellent counterattack, the football hit under the feet of Angel Di Maria, and this technical undercut defeated the goalkeeper. Their joy did not last long, however, because the VAR acted, which clearly indicated that at the time of administration the Argentinian was on fire. So we still had 0:0.

Steve Mandanda, who defended everything that flew in his direction, did the best in the ranks of the guests. This was the case, for example, in the 25th minute, when a French goalkeeper managed to shoot Meunier perfectly.

PSG players stayed on the ball longer, but not much resulted from it. They were not able to break through the tightly set defensive of the guests. When it seemed that nothing interesting awaits us before the break, the goal was scored Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman received a pass from Angel Di Maria and technically hit the further corner, defeated the goalkeeper. It was the last accent of the first half.

The second part of the meeting started with a strong blow. Just a minute after the break, we had 1:1. The mistakes of PSG defenders were used by Lucas Ocampos, who played the ball to Valere Germain and this shot on the ground, leveled the state of the competition. The joy of the guests did not last long. Only nine minutes later, Di Maria took his team to the lead. Thilo Kehrer played a perpendicular ball to the Argentinean, who passed several rivals in the penalty field and defeated Mandanda with a technical shot. After the break a lot was really happening.

The Olympique goalkeeper had to leave the court in the 62nd minute. He hit the ball with his hand, outside the penalty area and the referee had to send him to the locker room. It's a pity, because in the first half he was the mainstay of his team. After this situation, the guests probably stopped believing that they will be able to reverse the fate of this duel. The pace of their games fell and we watched a lot of inaccurate games. Weakening rivals was quickly used by the third goal scorer in this meeting. Di Maria decided to dispel doubts about who should be a player of the match and scored at 3:1. It was a beautiful free kick goal.

In the further part of the match, the hosts exchanged football in the middle part of the field for a long time, calmly controlling the result. In the added time of the game Mbappe could still increase the lead, because he won a penalty kick and decided to finish it by himself. This time, however, the Frenchman had to recognize the superiority of the goalkeeper and the final result of this competition is 3:1. PSG therefore has a 20 points advantage over the second Lille and in addition, the match was still to be played. The fight for championship promises to be fascinating ;)
