Marcelo Bielsa has not won anything in over 8 years of managerial career in Europe. Not only Europe, his trophy cabinet is not very pleasing if you look at his managerial career in Americas and National Teams while also a very controversial face among football managers. Despite all that he is one of the most respected managers around. Managers like Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino adore him. Reason for this respect? Bielsa's team play very entertaining and attacking football throughout the game. Doesn't matter by how many goals they are leading, they would always go to add more to the tally. This attacking & entertaining belief has costed Bielsa many games as well where his side(s) could win easily if sat back to defend the lead, but maybe Bielsa doesn't care about the result and prefers entertaining the fans over it.

Managers like Bielsa, Wenger, Sarri & many more would always be remembered for entertaining the fans rather than winning trophies and they would remain to be some of the most respected personalities in the sport just because of the entertainment they provide to the fans. It's simple logic, if you can entertain the fans then they would love & respect you regardless of how bad your CV may be in terms of success.

“The audience wants something that entertains them, and whether that entertainment is in the form of a physical match or in the form of a skit or video or promo, it's our job to deliver it to them, to the point where the audience becomes the biggest champion of our brand. And if we can't match that, then we're falling short.” — Paul Heyman
