Well, what I exactly wished for, United played 2-2 draw against Arsenal and it was the fair result for both team. After going down with the silly mistake twice, Manchester United was brave to pull the equalizer in both the occasion. I feared Arsenal might be able to get their first win after 2006 but once again, they failed. United's fan will happily take the results after going down twice.

Mourinho once again had some plan against Arsenal, and but a strange one. He had 5 defenders and 2 CDM in the lineup. Also, he benched the big gun, Pogba, and Lukaku. But somehow it worked out today. Lingard, Rashford, and Martial started in the front three for United. Arsenal had the same formation as of United with Alex Iwobi, Aubameyang, and Aaron Ramsey starting in the front three.

The first goal in the game was from Arsenal in the 26th minute. From the corner, Mustafi headed the ball but the ever-reliable de Gea confused himself. He couldn't tip the ball over the bar properly and went towards the United's goal. Ander Herrera who was responsible for clearing the ball off the goal line was already inside the line gifting the first goal to Arsenal.

But United didn't take it long to pull the equalizer. In the 30th minute, Arsenal conceded a free-kick from a dangerous position when Guendouzi stuck his knee into Martial. Rojo took the kick which Leno saved but Ander Herrera was the first to get into the ball tipped by Leno. He got the ball back into the box which Martial scored a birthday goal.

In the 68th minute of the match, Arsenal scored again from United's mistake. Rojo was goofing with the ball in his half, and he passed it straight to Lacazette after the pressure from Arsenal. Lacazette exchanged it with former United's player Mkhitaryan and scored to take Arsenal back in the lead.

While the first lead lasted for 5 minutes, the second one lasted exactly 74 seconds. United got a long ball into Arsenal's half. Kolasinac jumbled it back to Leno but Lingard was the first to get to the ball and get it home for his first goal of the season. Then, at the later stage of the match, both side didn't do a lot to get the winner, the match ended with a final score of 2-2.

Despite going down twice, United got a point against Arsenal at Old Trafford. It is a big result for United and it should boost some confidence in the busy schedule of December. But it is the third draw in a row for United and they haven't won a game in the league for last 4 games now. Also, it means United drops to the ninth in the table after only collecting 3 points of possible 12. For Arsenal extends their unbeaten run to 20 games.
