Portugal will be hosting the Semis of UEFA nations League in the next June. And all team to be featured in the Semis are decided. Of the 4 teams, 3 teams waited for their last game to ensure their place in the Semis, and all these three teams made a comeback in their last game for this. Portugal became the first team to reach the Semis and the only team to get into the Semis before playing their final games in the group. Portugal still has a game against Poland.

England was the second team to reach into the Semis at an expense of Croatia and Spain. Before the final clash of the group in Wembley World Cup Finalist Croatia, England needed a win to go into the Semis, a draw means Spain will go through while a loss means Croatia will go through. The first half ended in 0-0 draw and if it remained the same, England will be relegated while Spain will go through. In the 57th minute, Andrej Kramaric scored for Croatia and it remained 1-0 till the 78th minute. England needed a stunning comeback to avoid relegation and advance to Semis and they made it in last 12 minutes. Lingard got the equalizer in the 78th minute while Kane got the winner in the 85th minute of the match.

Switzerland was the second team to make a comeback win to progress into the Semis. They hosted Belgium knowing that a win with a difference of 2 goals was a must for the progress. But Swiss went down by 2-0 in a first 17th minute as Thorgan Hazard scored a brace for Belgium. Rodríguez initiated a comeback with a penalty while Seferovic with quick goals in the 31st minute and the 44th minute brought a game to 3-2 for Swiss. Elvedi and Seferovic added 2 more goals for a 5-2 victory for a Swiss side against World Number 1 ranked team.

The final team to go into the UEFA Nation League Semis is Netherland. Like England and Switzerland, they made a miracle comeback too. They too started the match to avoid the loss against Germany which was enough for them to take into Semis. But it didn't go as planned when Werner scored in the 9th minute to take Germany away. At the 19th minute, Sane doubled the lead to take Germany 2-0 ahead. It looked like World Champion France will be going to Portugal for next June till the 85th minute. But the Netherlands carved a magical comeback by scoring 2 goals in last 5 minutes to book a journey to Portugal at the expense of World Champions France. It became possible when Promes scored in the 85th minute of the match to bring it to 2-1 for Germany. The Dutch captain and Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk van Dijk scored the winner in the 90th minute.

Thus, Portugal, England, Netherlands, and Switzerland are the 4 teams to play in UEFA Nations League Semis. These 4 countries will play each other as a semifinal on 5th and 6th of the June of 2019. Then the winner of each semifinal will play for the first-ever UEFA Nations League title on June 9, 2019.
