Former manager Sir Alex Ferguson finally returned to Old Trafford after he suffered brain hemorrhage during May. The last game Ferguson watched at Old Trafford was on April 29. Manchester United defeated Arsenal in that game. On his return to Old Trafford, he was welcomed with a standing ovation. He was also applauded at the 27th minute of the match to recognize his 27 years of the service to the club. But the Manchester United fail to welcome Sir Alex with the win as they were held by impressive Wolves.

After two back to back win at Burnley and Watford, Manchester United seemed like they are back in form and were favorites to win over Wolves at Old Trafford. But in front of the home fans and Sir Alex, United had one of the worse game. For United, Fred got the early goals in the 18th minute from a wonderful pass from Paul Pogba. The goal from Fred made him the 500th United player to score. Once again, United was happy with the one goal and didn't create many opportunities against a newly promoted side in Old Trafford. In the 53rd minute, Wolves equalized from Moutinho's goal. After this, United made some efforts for the winner but a defensively organized Wolves didn't let it. Impressive Wolves held United in the Old Trafford and now they took a point from both the Manchester side this season. In the third game week at their home, they stopped City with the scoreline of 1-1, and an only team to stop City this term.

Wolves played like a team but United as a team was poor once again. Manchester United forward line was ineffective and very unimpressive. Sanchez who used to be game-winner for Arsenal every week for Arsenal has now lost his magical form and he was pretty anonymous today. He was preserved for today's game in a match against Young Boys in the Champions League. The other player who was saved for today's match was Lingard but he failed to impress too. Lukaku was pretty isolated in today's match and didn't get any support from the midfield. And all Jose Mourinho could do at the end of the game, was blame this bunch of players.

Another home game, another draw. and another frustrating day. So where is the real problem? Players or the Manager?
