Another day, another win for Ole Solskjaer. What a festival season it is turning out to be United fans after a disaster of the season. It is now second win in the space of 5 days scoring 8 goals and 6 points in the bag which reduces the gap with top 4. Thus, looking into 2 games now, the sacking of Mourinho and caretaking of Solskjaer is working for United. More importantly, the players are playing with a purpose, with passion and full of energy as it was depictable in today's game and in the previous game.

At Old Trafford, it was another good game for United. It was encouraging game in front of the home crowd. Solskjaer started Victor Lindelof and Phil Jones as CB against struggling Huddersfield. Marcus Rashford was the lone striker upfront and Pogba got an advanced position. Pogba along with Mata and Lingard started behind Rashford. The team was made around Pogba with him as focal, and it worked perfectly for Solskjaer today. It was encouraging to see this set of players dominating the match with quick passing, pace, and purpose.

United didn't wait long for the goal. At the 28th minute, Matic got his first goal at Old Trafford this season and provided the lead for United. Following the freekick by Pogba, United got the corner and Lingard took it. A perfect delivery by Lingard was flicked by Lindelof but was saved by Jonas Lossl only to reach Matic who was free in front of the post. He tapped the ball to bring United upfront.

Rashford and Dalot also got some good chances to double the lead for United after this but both failed. At second half, Huddersfield came more confidence than the previous half creating some good chances. Terence Kongolo and Phil Billing were among the player to miss some good opportunity. Solskjaer responded the pressure by bringing more matured players as he replaced Fred and Dalot by Herrera and Young.

At the 64th minute, the whole team was involved in making the second goal possible. Following the save by de Gea, United initiated the counter-attack as Rashford and Mata combined to take the ball to the box which was rolled to Herrera who then found Pogba who didn't do any mistake and double the United's lead. It was a team a goal with some pretty teamwork and was joyful to watch.

Again the player who was benched by Mourinho proved why he is world class player with another stunning goal and ensured the victory. Pogba exchanged the ball with Lingard and on the return, he slammed it into the bottom left corner from outside of the box. With this goal, the game was comfortably won and Solskjaer introduced young Angel Gomes, one of the best things from United's Academy. He is certainly going to be big players at United's shirt if he gets more playing time and Solsakjaer would find a way for him. And for de Gea, Clean Sheet is getting harder and he missed it again today. Mathias Jorgensen scored a consolation in the 88th minute for Huddersfield to deny it for de Gea.

With this win, United is now moving closer to Arsenal who played a draw against Brighton. United now has 32 points 6 points behind Arsenal and 8 points away from Champions League. But there is still a long way to go. United still has some good fixture ahead and with Ole and the team marching ahead, United fans can still dream of moving closer to those big teams. United will play Bournemouth next.
